I’m sick of twitter. Correction, I’m sick of people following me on twitter that have no relevance to anything I talk about or my industry what so ever. I in fact dispise all of the self proclaimed social media parasites who auto-follow tons of people a day to get followers. I’m just sick of it. I am in the adult industry and some of these non-adult marketers have had the unmitigated gall to talk shit about my fellow adult webmistresses who don’t even market themselves on twitter, they use it as a device to actually communicate and interact with people. OMG what is the world coming to where people on the net are not trying to sell you something?

See if you are new to twitter let me run some things down for you… Let’s say that I’m Joe blow social media marketer who is looking to cram a new affiliate product down your throat. What is an affiliate product you ask? Well an affiliate product is something that Joe Blow earns a commission off of for every sale they can generate using their specially coded link that they get from the product company.

Joe blow webmaster then signs up for a free twitter account and doesn’t really have anything useful or relevant to say so what he does is gets a lot of quotes from famous authors or public speakers who are relevant to the products they are trying to get you to buy. Joe then subscribes to any number of auto-twitter programs out there for a nominal fee. Why does he do this? Because it saves him time. It allows him to follow everyone that the program can find and auto-follow him because in most cases those people will follow him back. So Joe Blow webmaster now grows a very fast list of followers, up into the 20,000-50,000 followers in a very short amount of time.

He then auto fills about 30-50 twitter posts a day in his auto-tweet account and sets them to send at short intervals throughout the day. If he’s really greedy he will send about 20 tweets in under a minute, very much like one scumbag who I promptly unfollowed this evening. See let’s just do the math here for a minute. Let’s say for argument’s sake you have 30,000 followers and you send 50 tweets a day. You have now sent out the equivilant to 1.500,000 pieces of spam with minimal effort and minimal investment. Every time you tweet, your posts show up on every follower’s twitter feed. If you send enough tweets in a minute, all of your posts will show up on one person’s feed and knock all of the other tweets further down on the time line.

Very effective spamming techniques wouldn’t you agree? The thing that gets me is these self-rightous assholes look down their noses at adult webmasters and pornographers every day and they openly talk shit about us. But never mind the fact that every webmaster/webmistress that I know has hardly ever sent a piece of spam and they actually enjoy interaction with their fans and friends and getting to know real people. So what I have to say is screw all of you parasites and the real deal is that most of you are slinging porn affiliate links too and wanking your cranks to it while you talk out of the other side of your mouthes.  You are what makes the internet an unpleasant place to be because YOU all infect the regular non-adult places with your crap and I’m sick and tired of you all!

I figure I will just write about stuff that is relevant and it will come together on it’s own for now. As I said in a previous post, I read many techie blogs. Leading SEO guys, copywriting, marketing, blogging, PPC and a slew of photoshop junkies. They all love twitter and they are all over that like white on rice. I think it’s a really neat too because it’s instant. It’s more instant than instant messages lol. What I mean is, that everyone who is following you sees your tweets so you are having conversation with any number of people instead of just one on one. This can be useful for so many things, so I am told.

Aside from that, I’ve started following some pretty heavy hitting tweeters. Two days and I’m seeing just how much they tweet. There are lots of useful links and such being talked about but I just wonder if at some point people will start tuning out some of the really busy twitterers? You know is there a happy medium to how much you could post about before it borderlines annoying and just internet chatter? I’m not complaining because these people are writing about very interesting and worthwhile subjects but I couldn’t help but notice that this is where my mind first went to when I saw how busy some of these people are on twitter all day long. We shall see how long it takes before I start tuning people out lol. I must be programmed like a man in that respect. I will keep you posted.

Ok so what’s the point of the title of this post? Well to be honest I read, a lot. I read other blogs that talk about how to make money doing PPC(pay per click marketing) or SEO(search engine optimization) and SEM(search engine marketing which PPC falls into) and they talk to their target audience as if these people know what they are talking about. Like everyone else is in on the vague babble that their posts are about. What it really says to ME is that these guys are writing for other SEO and PPC bloggers and not for the general public who are looking to sharpen their chops in internet marketing.

Honestly, if you are writing a “helpful” blog to advise newbies on how to get your feet wet in pay-per-click or search engine optimization why would you talk to them in a way that is alienating? Why would you make them feel more out of the loop than they already do? People are subscribing to or bookmarking these websites and RSS feeds in the hopes of learning something and sometimes I get the feeling that they are just out to impress the other techies who they idolize. The average person who would find a helpful post helpful is someone who knows nothing about your niche, market, genre and is looking to find out what it’s all about. They don’t want to feel like there is more technical jargon thrown at them.  LOL you have just got to love eggheads and how they forget that they are writing for the every day Joe.

And you know something else? Enough with the frigging iphones and twitter, good lord. Yes iphones are wonderfully sleek glossy pieces of techie gadgets that everyone is blabbing about but not everyone wants to read about them. Yet not a week goes by without at least ten of my subscriptions writing a post about their iphones. I’m guessing that’s where the real seo juice is at lol. Ugh, and Twitter is quickly becoming a great tool turned to marketing crap, I had to unsubscribe from a bunch of bloggers who would tweet(make posts) 15 times a day about posts made on their blogs. I’m already subscribed to their feed and their newsletter so now I’m getting reminded a third time to read your blog full of iphone techno babble. Thanks, I’ll pass.

I guess this is the drawback of getting free information. It’s diluted down and only regurgitated again and again by other bloggers till they are all blogging about each other. I know that if you would like to learn about how to make money from the internet you are going to have to sift through the various experts and find someone who’s teaching style will work for you and actually pay for their services. As for right now I just don’t know for certain who I can honestly say is really worth the money for what you are looking for. I am going to have to do some more research before I recommend anyone because I don’t want to steer anyone in the wrong direction. So when I can get a more clear idea of who’s who, I will write a post about them. Until then if you want to learn a little I suggest hitting google and search for seo blog or ppc blog there are a few good ones out there.

I love how it challenges modern religion and ties it in with what the U.S. has done in the middle east and 9/11.

Most recently though the film maker has produced an addendum to Zeitgeist and it was released on October 23, 2008. It highlights the current state of the U.S. economy and how it has been designed to collapse and drive us further and further into debt by the lenders and the huge corporations and the top three banks in the country. We need to start taking back control of our own lives and stop being indentured servants to the U.S. economic structure and the federal reserve and international bankers. We are heading back into a time that is similar to the dark ages.

It’s time we start taking stock of our lives and seeing what is truly valuable and worth being grateful for. Realize that everything you really need, is everything you already have. You do not need to put yourself into deeper debt. Watch, learn, then go out and find a book on financial information.

And as I go, I will pass on what I learn. This country is in the midst of a decline and on the cusp of a serious economic collapse. It is time that people become more financially literate and educate themselves about how money works.  My aim with this website is to research and find ways to educate myself about how to create wealth and financial independence for myself, or even just to get myself on a better financial foot hold so that I can breath easy when I wake up every day.

I really love the internet. Because of the internet I learned about many things. I have learned how to design websites and I have learned how to market. There is a wealth of information out there just waiting for you to find it. A while ago I found The Secret and I was completely taken with this movie. It woke me up to what I want. There are things that everyone in life wants. Love, happiness, wealth, and good health. If you focus on what it is you really want, the universe will yield to you the things you want the most. Right now I am seeing how wanting my financial independence is my greatest desire more than anything else in my life. This is what I truly want.


I’m in the process of re-evaluating my life and where I want to go and what I want to do. I’ve started scaling back and cutting loose those things that are not earning me a high income and are have become nothing but an energy drain on myself. This has allowed me to be more focused on what I need to learn and I feel so much better and happier because I am not bogged down with work I don’t want to do. About a month or so ago, I was looking around on some of the RSS feeds that I read and I stumbled upon an internet PPC marketing genius and he talked a little bit about how he first decided to take the plunge into that kind of income earning. One fo the very first things he promoted was Rich Dad, Poor Dad.  I’ve just completed this book and it has truly opened my eyes to how I need to learn to think differently about money, about investing and about how I work. It is a good solid book for anyone who does not know how to get out of the vicious cycle of working for money to pay off debt for the rest of your life. I thought it was wonderful and insightful and I am about to buy myself the follow up to this book, “Rich Dad’s Guide to Investing”. It’s sure to be a worthwhile read.
